In a dish that can be eaten with a fork, since it almost does not contain liquid: the broth must be absorbed by the slices of bread. They are usually presented accompanied by olives or sea fennel in vinegar.
The Mallorcan soups are one of the variants of soups scalded with broth, a dish typical of other Mediterranean areas such as Catalonia, Provence or Italy.

2 dl of olive oil
4 garlic
5 tender small onions
4 peeled and chopped tomatoes (sprig)
200 g of cauliflower
150 g of peas
4 artichokes
1 green pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 bunch of spinach
1 medium cabbage
200 g peasant bread (sopes), salt, pepper and water
Put a clay pot with olive oil on the fire.
Sauté the onion, garlic and parsley, leaving them to fry well.
Then we add the sprig tomato and the green pepper in pieces and let saute a few minutes.
Then we put the cabbage also into pieces and the artichokes are very clean and cut into small pieces.
We fry all the vegetables and let it sauté.
We add water, until it is well covered.
Then add the cauliflower, spinach and peas.
We taste salt and pepper to taste and let it boil until the cauliflower is cooked.
Turn off the heat and add the bread, leaving it to rest for a few minutes before serving.
